Everton have been one of the most active teams in the Premier League when it comes to adding new players ahead of the 2019-20 season. However, they still need to bolster their attack if they want to contend for a Top-6 spot in the upcoming campaign.

The Toffees have set their sights on a specific player, however, as Marco Silva has identified Moise Kean as the team’s preferred target to bolster the attacking depth. The Juventus forward won’t come cheap, however, as the reigning Serie A champions have placed a €40 million price tag on the talented prospect.

Things are far from finalised, however, as there are a few details that need to be ironed out before this deal is completed. As things stand right now, the stumbling block for Everton so far has been Juve’s insistence on inserting a buyback clause into the deal, something the Premier League side will not consider.

Kean is coming off a great year with Juventus. Even though he struggled for playing time in the first half of the season, he came into his own after the winter break and dazzled for the Serie A champions, scoring six goals in 13 Serie A appearances while playing a big role for The Old Lady down the stretch.
