Manchester United are the latest club to register an interest in Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin, reports the Evening Standard.

The Gunners must sell to fund the spending spree they need to revitalise their squad during the summer with Bellerin one of the few stars they can cash-in on.

His relationship with a section of the club’s fanbase has deteriorated, with the 22-year-old aiming stinging barbs at Arsenal Fan TV during his recent eloquent Oxford Union appearance.

Dropping out of the Champions League and failing to finish in the top four for two successive seasons is predicted to puncture the north London club’s ability to spend big in the transfer market.

While there will be funds available to Arsene Wenger or his successor, they will not be anywhere near the value required to rebuild so the club can challenge at the top end of the table.

Poor contract management in the past sees the Gunners looking at replacing both goalkeepers in 2019, as well as losing key defenders Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny in the same timeframe.

With Jack Wilshere yet to agree a new deal and in danger of walking away in the summer, Arsenal are in nothing short of a mess.

Juventus are interested in both Wilshere and Bellerin, with the former able to sign on a free transfer.

United are also looking at Aaron Ramsey whose current deal expires in 2019 but face competition from Chelsea for his signature.
