Real Madrid are one of the most active teams in the world when it comes to sign new players. They are especially active when it comes to signing youth talent even if they do not pan out at the top level.

Los Merengues have signed young players such as Eder Militao, Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo Goes, Martin Odegaard and Brahim Diaz in recent years with different levels of success. One name that might make that list even bigger is the one of Callum Hudson-Odoi.

According to Spanish outlet El Desmarque, Los Blancos are very interested in making a move for the 19-year-old attacking midfielder. Bayern Munich were also keen on the talented Chelsea star during last summer, but The Blues chose to extend Hudson-Odoi’s deal despite the speculation surrounding his future.

This time, Real Madrid chairman Florentino Perez and manager Zinedine Zidane are both interested in signing Hudson-Odoi as a long-term replacement for Gareth Bale and Eden Hazard. It’s not going to be easy to sign him, however. The young winger signed a new five-year contract this September.

Real Madrid’s transfer shortlist also contains the names of Villarreal forward Samu Chikwueze, Erling Haaland of Red Bull Salzburg and Everton striker Moise Kean. All three are young players filled with upside, and that’s what Real Madrid are looking for.
