Callum Hudson-Odoi is determined to force through a move from Chelsea to Bayern Munich this month according to talkSPORT.

The 18-year-old winger reportedly made the club aware he would not sign a new contract at Stamford Bridge and is keen to start afresh in the Bundesliga. Jadon Sancho, 18, has seen his career blossom after leaving Manchester City for Borussia Dortmund, culminating in call-ups to Gareth Southgate’s England senior squad. Little wonder the winger is urging other young English players to join him in Germany.

Meanwhile Reiss Nelson, also 18, is receiving high praise for his performances whilst on loan at Hoffenheim from Arsenal. The England youngster scored six goals in 13 Bundesliga appearances before the winter break, breathing excitement into the Gunners fans ahead of his return next season.

Hudson-Odoi is keen to be part of that revolution and take the opportunity Bayern are offering. The Germans original offer was rebuffed, as was the follow-up £30m bid. It’s reported they are preparing to pay £35m, leaving Chelsea at a point where they need to make a decision.

With his contract expiring in 2020, Hudson-Odoi is twelve months away from being able to sign a pre-contract deal. Should he leave Stamford Bridge on a Bosman, Chelsea are likely to receive just £500,000 at most under FIFA’s training contract fee reimbursement scheme. The Blues, whether they like it or not, do not entirely control this situation and need to decide just how much they want to keep their homegrown hero?
