Leicester City’s season has not been all that exciting in terms of achieving long cup runs or challenging for European football, but their youngsters have been doing very well. Leicester are the team that gave the most minutes in Premier League to U23 and Youri Tielemans is one of them.
The Belgian was loaned from AS Monaco in January, as Adrien Silva was loaned to the Ligue 1 side as part of the deal, but now Foxes are eager to actually sign Tielemans to long-term contract. Tielemans thoroughly impressed for Leicester since joining and now the club is looking at ways to keep him at the club.
According to the Daily Mail, Monaco will be trying to get as much as £40m for the 21-year-old midfielder in order to let him go, but Leicester will probably want to lower that number. They might even use Adrien Silva once again if deemed necessary, as the Portuguese midfielder is already well known to Monaco.
