Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are the latest German club to cast envious glances at the Premier League. According to the Daily Mail, they are looking to whisk Chelsea starlet Callum Hudson-Odoi to the Allianz Arena.

The 18-year-old impressed during the Blues Europa League campaign this season, leading the Bavarians to pay closer attention to the youngster. Hudson-Odoi was a member of the England team which won the Under-17 World Cup in 2017, as well as being in the Team of the Tournament at the Under-17 European Championship.

Bayern are willing to match the fee paid by Real Madrid for Manchester City starlet Brahim Diaz, 19; around £13m plus add-ons could bring the Blues to the negotiating table.

Borussia Dortmund, who are reaping the reward of investing in former Manchester City winger Jadon Sancho, 18, are also interested in Hudson-Odoi. Sancho, who won his first England cap in Croatia, has six goals in 17 league appearances as BVB opened up a six-point gap at the top of the table.

Reiss Nelson, also 18, is impressing in Hoffenheim during his year-long loan spell from Arsenal. The South Londoner has a more impressive goal return with six in 11 Bundesliga matches.

Hudson-Odoi is highly-rated at Stamford Bridge but with Maurizio Sarri keen to reshape the squad to ensure the Blues return to the Champions League, the youngsters future may lie at one of Europe’s biggest clubs.
