The transfer saga of Adrien Rabiot seems to be an on-going subject all over Europe and with the January transfer window fast approaching, there might not be a better to discuss the future of the 23-year-old talented playmaker.
According to reports coming out of Italy, it seems Juventus are now leading the pack to sign the PSG midfielder, but there has not been a lot of activity regarding his departure. Let’s remember Rabiot was tipped to leave the side during the summer after being left out of the France squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, but nothing happened.
Things could change now, though, and a January exit is looking more and more likely since Rabiot continues to rotate on the squad, and he is looking for a permanent starting role.. as if such thing ever existed. Juventus are the top candidate to sign him, but they are likely to face some stiff competition in a potential bidding war for the defensive midfielder.
Indeed, teams such as AC Milan, Barcelona, Liverpool and Arsenal have all been linked with a move for Rabiot in the past, but it would certainly seem as if Juve would be his desired location. It’s no secret that he wants to find success both in Europe as well as domestically, and a switch to Juve would give him a great chance of doing that. Even if the Turin-based side is building a superteam that already has plenty of quality options in midfield, including his countryman Blaise Matuidi.
