Borussia Dortmund are investing in the youth and so far, the bet seems to be paying off. The current Bundesliga leaders have given prominent roles to players such as Jadon Sancho, Christian Pulisic, Jacob Bruun Larsen and Dan-Axel Zagadou, and the results have been undeniable.

But Dortmund do not want to dry the talent pipes too soon, and the club representatives have held a meeting with 20-year-old Corinthians talent Pedro Victor Delmino da Silva, otherwise known as Pedrinho. Pedrinho is widely considered to be one of the top young players in the Brasileirao, and has also seen action in the 2018 Copa Libertadores.

Pedrinho could eventually join the ranks of other young players at Dortmund who look for a first-team role, such as Achraf Hakimi (19), Felix Passlack (20) and Dzenis Burnic (20). They have also said to be interested in Manchester City youngsters Brahim Diaz and Phil Foden.

In fact, Brazilian outlet Yahoo Esportes have shared a photo of Borussia Dortmund officials having a chat with Pedrinho in Sao Paulo, and all signs indicate that Dortmund will soon make an official approach for the talented midfielder who’s quickly gaining interest all over Europe.

Corinthians president Andres Sanchez has already stated that Pedrinho will not leave the Brazilian outlet for less than €25 million. It remains to be seen whether the BVB will be willing to that far to sign the promising youngster.
