Fiorentina midfielder Milan Badelj is attracting plenty of interest from Italy and Spain, according to La Nazione.

Croatia international is closely followed by both AS Roma and Sevilla and could be sold during the winter transfer window as Fiorentina don’t want to risk losing the 28-year-old on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of the season.

Badelj is not getting any closer to extending his contract with Viola and is looking to make a step upwards in his career by moving to a Champions League side.

Both AS Roma and Sevilla have reached the tournament’s last-16 stage and would present the Croatia midfielder with a proper challenge.

Giallorossi are said to have emerged as frontrunners for Badelj although the newly-appointed Sevilla boss Vincenzo Montella will not back down from a fight.

Badelj made 16 Serie A appearances this season. he scored one goal for Viola during that time.
