Completing the deal according to the Foxes official website is Adrien Silva whose stay at the King Power Stadium was ill-fated from the outset. The Portugal international moves to the Ligue Un struggles for the rest of the season.
Tielemans, who was a member of the Belgium squad which finished third at Russia 2018, has five goals in 20 appearances for Les Monegasques this season. It’s a quarter of the team’s total and is form Leicester need him to pack in his suitcase.
He joins a Foxes team which is proving goalshy under the stewardship of compatriot Claude Puel with just 30 goals from 24 Premier League matches.
After graduating from the Anderlecht academy, he went on to make 185 appearances for the famous Belgian club before moving to Monaco in 2017. The 21-year-old won 19 international caps to date.
For 29-year-old Silva, the move to France ends his nightmare stay in the East Midlands. His move from Sporting Lisbon came seconds too late in the transfer window of 2017, meaning he was sidelined for four months before he officially joined the club.
This season, however, he featured just twice in the Premier League and grew increasingly frustrated. In total, he only appeared 14 times in the top flight of the English game making him an expensive flop at £22m.
