According to Calciomercato, Bayern are reportedly details away from completing the signature of the German international. Gortezka currently plays for Schalke 04, but already said he is not going to sign a new deal so all signs indicate he will join the European giants once the current season ends.
Goretzka has been one of the hottest names in the transfer market this year. He played a pivotal role for Germany in the 2017 Confederations Cup title, and his performances caught the eye of some of the best teams in the world. Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United and Juventus wanted to acquire him, but it looks like Bayern have won the race for the 22-year-old playmaker.
