Inter Milan are preparing for 2020 in some fashion. After beating Borussia Dortmund 2-0 in Champions League, Nerazzuri once again missed their opportunities to win in Serie A. After a 2-2 draw against Parma, that failure to win will hurt them even more so, as Juventus also drew against Lecce.
Inter have failed to get back on equal terms with Juventus after losing to them in Derby d’Italia and now it looks like Inter are ready to go big in January transfer window. They are interested in signing Manchester United’s Nemanja Matic and Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal.
The duo of central midfielders have not been doing great for their clubs in the past year or so and now both are being targeted by Inter. Antonio Conte wants to reinforce his team and improve the midfield options, with the Serbian and Chilean being prime targets. Corriere della Sera are also reporting that they will want to sign these players in January, rather than wait for summer transfer window.
