Despite the fact he scored a late equaliser against Atletico Madrid this past weekend, not much has changed for Ousmane Dembele at Barcelona. The Frenchman remains under heavy scrutiny, and all signs indicate his time at Camp Nou could come to an end sooner than expected.
This time, the rumours locate Dembele in France. It is widely known that Neymar wants to return to Barcelona, and Los Blaugranas would be open to offer the former Dortmund winger to PSG in an attempt to sweeten a potential Neymar deal, according to a report from the Mirror.
Dembele, who joined Barca only 18 months ago, does not look comfortable in Spain and maybe a return home, where he already starred for Rennes before moving to Borussia Dortmund, could be just what he needs to get his career back on track.
It remains to be seen whether PSG would accept such deal, especially since there have been growing concerns regarding Dembele’s attitude and overall lifestyle. But even if nothing comes out of his deal, both Arsenal and Liverpool are also keeping close tabs on the winger’s situation.
Dembele has struggled to find his way into Ernesto Valverde’s Best XI, but still has seven goals and two assists in 16 matches across all competitions for Los Blaugranas this term.
