There have been lots of rumours regarding the future of Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean winger joined the Old Trafford side during the January transfer window this year, but it is clear that he hasn’t been able to live up to the expectations or the fact that he is the highest-paid player in the Premier League.

The talented winger does not look comfortable at Old Trafford anymore and recent reports have indicated that he is aiming to leave Manchester United in January after becoming “deeply disillusioned” with life at Old Trafford. The Chile international has lost his place in the first team, starting just five games for United since the start of the season.

Teams will always be interested in a player with Alexis’ capacities, but only a few could afford him since he has an exorbitant £500,000-a-week wage. But one of those teams would be PSG, who have been tracking the Chilean ever since his Barcelona days, and Alexis is “interested” in a potential move to the French capitol.

Playing might be scarce, though, since he would have to battle with the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Angel di Maria and Edinson Cavani solely for playing time. Sanchez’s representatives want to take Alexis out of Old Trafford soon, though, and they would be open to consider a January exit.

The 29-year-old has scored just three Premier League goals since moving to the Red Devils midway into last season.
