Juventus are taking a close interest in Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey claims the Daily Star.
The 27-year-old Wales international is seen as the attacking foil for Emre Can, 24, who is expected to move to Turin on a free transfer in the summer.
Max Allegri is keen to revamp his squad with this season’s Serie A title proving to be the hardest fought in several years. The Bianconeri sit top of the table with just two points between themselves and second-placed Napoli. The two sides meet in Turin in April for a title decider.
Ramsey enters the final year of his contract this summer and recently rejected Arsenal’s opening offer of a new deal. It’s understood that the Welshman is one of the players identified by the Gunners hierarchy as being sold to fund their own spending plans.
Manchester United are also keen on the midfielder who rejected a move to Old Trafford when he moved to north London from Cardiff City a decade ago.
It was the personal intervention of Arsène Wenger which swayed the decision in Arsenal’s favour but with the Frenchman’s own future up in the air, Ramsey is understood to be reluctant to commit to a new deal until he sees how the club plans to replace the manager.
