One of the transfer sagas that didn’t appear to have an end in sight could reportedly come to an end… if the recent reports from Sky Sports are true.

According to the recent developments, it seems as if Eden Hazard will finally leave Chelsea this summer and his destination will end up being Real Madrid. The aforementioned report from Sky Sports indicated that Chelsea are keen to accept Los Blancos’ £130 million offer for the Belgium international.

It must be stated that Hazard has been linked with a move to the Bernabeu for several seasons. He’s been a reported target for Florentino Perez in each of the past three transfer windows and now that Cristiano Ronaldo is gone, Perez is keen to do “everything in his power” to secure the services of the Chelsea star.

If the deal ends up happening, then this would be Madrid’s most expensive signing in club history, eclipsing the then world-record £86m they paid for Gareth Bale in 2013. Bale, on the other hand, could be close to leave Real Madrid regardless of Hazard’s arrival to the Santiago Bernabeu outfit.

As things stand right now, don’t be surprised if the UEFA Europa League final ends up being Hazard’s final match with Chelsea. With that in mind, there’s no doubt the Belgian will be keen to leave The Blues with a title.
