Paul Pogba has been increasingly likely to leave Old Trafford during the upcoming transfer window. And now it seems The Red Devils are likely to lose the star France international for the second time during this decade.

Apparently, Pogba does not want to play for Manchester United anymore after the side failed to clinch a Champions League spot for the 2019/20 season. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer knows that, but United’s management does not want to let Pogba leave the side if he doesn’t hand a formal transfer request.

That should happen soon and when the time comes, Pogba will have a clear path to join Real Madrid. The Frenchman wants to play for Los Blancos next season, and Zinedine Zidane has given Pogba an ultimatum – he either joins the club this summer, or he can forget about the idea of playing for the club in the future.

Pogba had an impressive year with Manchester United if we look at the numbers, since he finished with 13 goals and nine assists in 35 Premier League appearances. But he often disappeared on big games, and it was clear he wasn’t comfortable at United anymore. If that’s the case, then the best scenario for both parties involved would be to get a transfer deal done sooner than later.
