Out of nowhere, Isco has been left out of Real Madrid’s squad in recent matches and it seems as if newly-appointed manager, Santiago Solari, does not rate the former Malaga star playmaker as high as his predecessors.

However, the Spanish playmaker could find an escape route from Spain in case his situation does not change in the coming months. According to a report Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is set to try his luck with Real Madrid in the hope of luring the midfielder away from the Spanish capital.

It’s not the first time City show interest in Isco, though, as they have been long admirers of the talented midfielder in the past, but they are tracking his situation closely than ever.

The 26-year-old has played just 36 minutes in Santiago Solari’s four games in charge of Los Blancos. It is blalant that he would have far more opportunities if he moves to the Etihad Stadium.

Isco has two goals in 12 games this season for Madrid. Those numbers are not impressive by any means, but Isco is a world-class talent that any club would welcome with open arms. And the fact that he is ONLY 26 years old means he hasn’t even reached his peak form yet.

Without a doubt, the rest of the Premier League probably hopes this transfer doesn’t become a reality.
