One of the up-and-coming stars in the Premier League is Richarlison. The former Watford and current Everton star has enjoyed a stellar 2018-19 season, and his recent Premier League displays have caught the eye of some of the best teams in the world. One of those, according to the Daily Star, is Barcelona.
The Liga giants are looking to bolster their attacking depth and they have been linked with several other players, such as Mauro Icardi, Harry Kane, Nicolas Pepe and even a potential return of Neymar. However, Richarlison would be considerably cheaper than all of the other alternatives, and his ability to play on both flanks should definitively be an interesting trait.
Richarlison has taken the EPL by storm in 2018, scoring eight goals in 14 league matches since joining Everton this past summer. He netted on Monday’s match against his former club Watford, and all signs indicate he looks ready to play for a bigger side come next year. Will Barcelona sign him?
At the very least, Richarlison has already established himself as an up-and-coming player on the Brazilian NT setup. He earned a call-up thanks to this stellar 2017-18 season with Watford, and he already has three goals in six senior caps for his country.
