Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are always on the opposite ends. Usually, that is in the Bundesliga title race, as is the case this season, where the Bavarian side has a one point lead with six rounds to go, and sometimes that is the case in Champions League finals, like in 2013.
But this time both clubs will be watching Champions League from their couches and according to Sport, both clubs will be looking at Hakim Ziyech. The 26-year-old Ajax winger has been exceptional this season in both Eredivisie and Champions League and no wonder they are interested in the Moroccan player.
Ziyech scored 15 goals and assisted 10 in Eredivisie this season, while in the elite European competition he has two goals and an assists. Ziyech also did well against Bayern in group stages last fall and now the German giants will be on the move. The player’s contract expires in June 2021, but Ajax probably could be persuaded to cash in on him this summer.
