Isco’s time at Real Madrid could be coming to a close.

The talented playmaker was expected to be one of the top players for Real Madrid this season, but has underperformed massively and he has not been able to reproduce last season’s performances. And Los Merengues would be over with him, if recent reports are deemed to be true.

Several Spanish newspapers are reporting this week that Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has been disappointed by Isco’s declining form this season, adding that Frenchman is prepared to let the Spanish international leave during the summer transfer window.

The decision becomes even easier when Isco’s form is compared to James Rodriguez’s one, as the Colombian winger has been tearing it up for Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga. Zidane decided to stick with Isco, and the results have not been the expected ones. The 25-year-old failed to take advantage of the opportunity, and all signs indicate he is likely to leave the club this summer.

In fact, Diario AS reported that Zidane has already decided to sell Isco if he remains with the team next season. Manchester United has already been linked with a move for the Spanish playmaker, as Jose Mourinho is a keen admirer of his talents and wouldn’t mind taking him to Old Trafford.
