Leicester City’s youthful squad could get another reinforcement. After Shinji Okazaki, Danny Simpson and Vicente Iborra – all older than 30 – left the club, Brendan Rodgers and his associates are trying to get good, but younger replacements. They have already done that with James Justin and Ayoze Perez, but now Dennis Praet could be another signing for their team.
Sampdoria’s central midfielder is 25 years old and Brendan Rodgers is apparently his big fan. The Foxes manager really wants to get him this summer and according to Daily Mail, Leicester are doing their best to bring him in on the final day of the transfer window. According to some sources, a fee could be between 20 and 25 million pounds.
It is also believed that Rachid Ghezzal could be used as part of the swap deal, in order for Leicester to pay less for the Belgian midfielder. Still, either way Leicester are in a good position financially, after selling Harry Maguire and they could definitely spend the money on Praet.
