Paul Pogba’s miserable Manchester United return may soon be over after Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici admitted the club was mulling over a bid for the World Cup winner, claims the Manchester Evening News.
The claims emerge days after Pogba was labelled a “virus” by United boss Jose Mourinho. The extraordinary outburst came in front of the Manchester United squad after the 2 – 2 draw at Southampton last weekend.
According to reports, Mourinho snapped, “You don’t play. You don’t respect players and supporters. And you kill the mentality of the good honest people around you.”
It comes as Paratici confirmed discussions took place at board level in Turin.
“A return? We have already discussed this many times.
“”He’s a great player we’ve had before and are fond of, but now he plays for Manchester United.
“We are exploring the market, the president and Pavel Nedved, with the help of the coach (Massimiliano) Allegri.
Pogba’s career is a rollercoaster, seemingly hurtling out of control as his relationship with Jose Mourinho deteriorates. A return to Turin doesn’t necessarily resolve his issues either.
Will Real Madrid rekindle their interest after the major snub when he moved to Old Trafford and provide a new beginning?
