Real Madrid are willing to add another star forward to their star-studded squad. Los Merengues are reportedly preparing a massive offer to secure the services of Raheem Sterling, who currently plays for Manchester City.

According to a report from Sky Sports News, the Liga giants will prepare an audacious offer of Gareth Bale plus £70m in exchange for the England international.

In fact, several Real Madrid scouts will travel to watch Sterling’s performances for England next month, at home to Montenegro and away to Kosovo, before deciding on the final details of a proposal to City. He has already done enough at City to show his signing would be a valuable one.

The Spanish giants must act quickly, though. Sterling is currently valued at £150m, and Real president Florentino Perez knows another 12 months without a deal will see Sterling’s present valuation increase even more.

The winger has scored seven goals in 10 league appearances this season. He has three years left on a £280,000-a-week deal he signed a year ago with The Citizens. Given how much he has grown at City, it is unlikely that he will push for a move. Although his desire to play in La Liga might change the scenery if Real comes with a serious proposal.
