John Terry is not ready to hang up his boots yet and if the Sunday Telegraph is correct, will sign for Aston Villa this week.
The former Chelsea captain was courted by both Birmingham clubs but favoured a move to Villa Park after extensive talks with both managers. Harry Redknapp, in his first summer at St Andrew’s, admitted that Birmingham City had lost the fight for his signature.

A former England captain, Terry was at Stamford Bridge for twenty-two years, including a three-year stint as a youth player. Prior to that, he was at West Ham United, his local professional club.
During his time with the Blues, he won 5 Premier League titles, 5 FA Cups, 3 League Cups, 2 Community Shields, the Champions League and Europa League. It’s a list which makes him the most decorated player in the clb’s history.
