Bayern Munich are building a sustainable contending team for the foreseeable future, and the team’s latest signings suggest that their are preparing a new spell of dominance over Europe.
In recent years the team has signed young players such as Kingsley Coman, Corentin Tolisso, Niklas Sule and Kingsley Coman, just to name a few, but another name has sneaked into their agenda. We are talking about Bordeaux’s Malcom.
The Brazilian winger has been terrorizing opposing defences at will in the Ligue 1, and several top teams in Europe have set their sights on him. Arsenal were close to make a push for him during the January transfer window and Tottenham were also linked with him last month; but Bayern have sneaked ahead of the race and suddenly look like favourites to sign the wonderkid — reports the Mirror.
Bordeaux are not keen to part ways with their star forward, but they know they are qujite likely to sell him during the summer. The 20-year-old looks like the perfect long-term replacement for both Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben, and his ability to move all over the attacking third is certainly appealing. And he is extremely young as well, so he is only going to get better in the coming years.
Malcom has eight goals and six assists in 25 Ligue 1 appearances this season.
