One of the most consistent, hard-working players in the Bundesliga could be soon to leave his current club in the coming months. We are talking about Bayern Munich‘s star midfielder Arturo Vidal, who could be changing teams quite soon.

According to a report from Sport Bild, the reigning Bundesliga champions are prepared to listen to offers for the Chilean defensive midifelder, who has emerged as one of the team’s best players in recent years.

Despite the fact that Vidal has one more year left in his current contract, Die Roten would be keen to cash in on the player before it’s too late. And it’s not like they don’t have enough depth in the position. The presence of Sebastian Rudy, Javi Martinez and Corentin Tolisso, as well as the arrival of Leon Goretzka, give Bayern enough depth to potentially absorb the loss of Vidal.

The former Juventus and Leverkusen star has been linked with a summer exit as well, and it is believed that Chelsea – or better said, Antonio Conte – is eager to bring him into the Premier League. Manchester United have also been linked with a move for the 31-year-old.

Bayern Munich chiefs have so far been reluctant to negotiate the sale, but latest reports suggest they would consider offers in the region of €50 million. That’s quite a steep price, but it should be something most top sides in Europe could handle given how crazy the transfer market has been in the past few years.

Napoli are also keen to make a move for Vidal, but they would be a bit behind United and Chelsea on the race to acquire him.
