Inter Milan have not secured a UEFA Champions League berth for the 2019/20 season but their future depends exclusively on themselves. If they get a win in the Serie A season finale this Sunday, they’ll play in Europe’s top club competition once again.
Even if they only qualify for the UEFA Europa League, the Nerazzurri side are interested in bolstering their squad ahead of the upcoming campaign. And with that in mind, Inter have set their sights on two Premier League players: Romelu Lukaku and Victor Moses, although the latter spent the second half of the season on loan at Fenerbahce from Chelsea.
According to a report from Sky Sports and their sources, Inter are practically set to appoint Antonio Conte in order to replace Luciano Spalletti and the former Chelsea tactician does not want to waste time when it comes to upgrading the side. Moses and Lukaku would add some much-needed pace and strength to the attacking line, while also allowing Inter to potentially part ways with sought-after players such as Mauro Icardi and Ivan Perisic, just to name a few.
Both would benefit from the move. While Lukaku does not appear to have future as a starter for Manchester United following Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s arrival, Moses is all but gone from Chelsea and he would be keen to re-unite with a coach that actually wants to work with him again.
