Crystal Palace are bracing themselves for another summer of Tottenham interest in Wilfried Zaha, claims a Daily Mirror report.

The 25-year-old was a pivotal part of the Eagles team which pulled itself to the safety zone in the Premier League after an abysmal start to the season.

Some of the momentum has been lost in with Zaha suffering a knee injury. In his absence, Palace have been unable to stay clear of the relegation places and sit one point above the bottom three.

Spurs tried to sign Zaha last year and in 2016, but Palace refused to sell to their Premier League rivals. With original target Malcom, 20, set to move to north London rivals Arsenal, Mauricio Pochettino has returned to the Ivory Coast international.

The Argentinean expects to return to White Hart Lane next season without his fellow countryman Erik Lamela. The 25-year-old returned to the Tottenham first team squad after a serious hip injury but has grown frustrated at being unable to claim a place in the starting line-up. Inter Milan are monitoring his situation with a bid expected from the Nerazzurri this summer.

Zaha, currently under contract until 2022 and valued at over £50m, is seen as the ideal replacement for the wantaway Argentina international.
