Rumour: Mourinho done deal, sanctions three signings

Sources close to the Portuguese manager say the deal to take Jose Mourinho to Old Trafford has been signed and sealed. The Manchester United board have now moved onto finalising the new bosses transfer targets and beginning to make enquiries.

German media outlet Bild have reported that Mourinho has signed a three year deal to succeed Louis van Gaal as the next Man Utd manager.

Mourinho will be handed a £300 million pound transfer budget to turn United back into tittle contenders.

The Special One has already identified three players who he would like to bring to the club, John Stones, 21, at Everton, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, 34, PSG and Renato Sanches, 18, Benfica.

Mourinho has instructed the Old Trafford board to move on all three targets, as he believes they will all add significant strength to the current squad.

The most difficult target is thought to be John Stones, with Mourinho failing with bids for the player last summer when he was in charge at Chelsea. However with Everton having such a poor season, it is believed they would now be willing to sell and cash in on Stones.

Deals for the Sanches and Ibrahimovic look less complicated with the later out of contract at the end of the season.
