It has not been an easy start to the 2019-20 season for AC Milan. Rosonerri have had a poor beginning of the season, with a managerial change, string of uninspiring results and now they have spent another summer spending money without doing great afterwards.
Now, with less money they will have this time around, they will have to be much smarter and one of their ideas to strengthen their midfield is to sign Croatia international. Ivan Rakitic could be going to San Siro, as Calciomercato are reporting both sides would be interested in a potential deal.
According to them, Rakitic would be open to make a move to Italy and AC Milan would be happy to get the experienced midfielder in order to start improving their squad under Stefano Pioli.
Rakitic has not been playing at Barcelona and it looks like Ernesto Valverde is not having him in his plans, therefore a move to Milan could happen already in January 2020.
