talkSPORT claims Juventus’ patience has finally run out with Liverpool midfielder Emre Can.

The 24-year-old midfielder is out of contract this summer and Juventus have been long-time admirers of the Germany international, but are determined to move along their summer transfer business.

It’s led to reports of a deadline being slapped on the offer to the player made by the Turin-based club.

If Can doesn’t agree terms and sign a pre-contract agreement by the time the club kicks off in their title decider against Napoli in the Juventus Stadium, the Italian champions will switch to other targets.

Among those being eyed by Juventus are Arsenal and Wales midfielder Aaron Ramsey, 27, and Tottenham’s Belgium international Moussa Dembele, 30.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp hasn’t given up hope of persuading Can to stay at Anfield. However, the former Bayer Leverkusen man recently put all talk of his contract situation on hold until the end of the season.

Can moved to Anfield in 2014 and has made 166 appearances since his £9.75m transfer. After suffering from injuries recently, his return to first-team action could hardly be better timed with the Champions League semi-final against Roma fast approaching.

His options, it seems, could be about to reduce.
