Ousmane Dembele seems to be heading towards the exit door at FC Barcelona. Or at least, that is what is seems inevitable given the latest developments involving the French winger who used to play for Borussia Dortmund.
Currently in his second season with Los Blaugranas, Dembele hasn’t been able to adjust to what Ernesto Valverde wants, and has disappointed the club’s officials both on and off the pitch. Even though he started the season well with an excellent performance in the Spanish Super Cup, his recent efforts have left a lot to be desired.
Plus, Dembele has been acknowledged time and time again that he needs to change some habits in his personal life, but the winger has chosen not to listen. Due to this, both Valverde and the club’s officials have already lost patience with the talented winger, and could make him available in the near future.
There shouldn’t be a shortage of suitors battling for his services, and Liverpool have emerged as a potential destination based on recent rumours. In fact, Jurgen Klopp would be open to offer around £85 million for the talented winger. Of course, that might not be enough considering Barca paid almost £100m for Dembele to Dortmund.
It remains to be seen what Barca will decide. But all signs point towards the 21-year-old winger leaving the club sooner than later.
