It is not a secret that James Rodriguez will not play for Real Madrid next season. The Colombian playmaker does not count for Zinedine Zidane, and Los Merengues are reportedly prepared to cash on the talented playmaker.
Manchester United has been long rumored as a potential destination for the former Monaco standout, but there is a chance he might return to France this summer. According to a report from MARCA, Ligue 1 giants PSG are prepared to offer €75 million to lure the Colombia star out of Santiago Bernabeu.
Arsenal are also rumored to be interested in his services, but nothing has been confirmed at the moment. The only thing that is clear is that James will not feature for Los Merengues in the 2017-18 campaign. PSG sounds like an appealing destination for him, as he would be back in the land where he already thrived, on a team with championship goals, and next to several South American players such as Angel Di Maria, Lucas Moura and Edinson Cavani, just to name a few.
Even though he had limited minutes throughout the season, James still had some quality moments with Madrid. He finished the year with 11 goals and 13 assists over 33 appearances across all competitions, so there is no doubt he will be far more productive if given more playing time.
