Real Madrid close in on £32m deal for Eden Hazard

According to the Express, Eden Hazard, 25, has agreed to a £32 million move to Real Madrid this summer, subject to Real reaching an agreement with Hazards current club.

The Chelsea man has been out of sorts all season, with a dramatic dip in form after scooping the PFA Player of the Year award last year. However this has not put off suitors, with Hazard being linked all season with a move to PSG.

It is Real Madrid who have taken the initiative and made a move first for Hazard, even tho the player has not scored in the league since April. With Spanish media OK Diario reporting that Real have beaten the french club to the Belgians signature.

The hierarchy at Real Madrid have long been fans of Eden Hazard, but it was not until the appointment of current boss Zinedine Zidane that they felt they could lure him to the club.

At the start of the season few would of predicated Hazard leaving Stamford Bridge. However now that Chelsea look certain to fail to qualify for the Champions League, his departure seems inevitable.
