Manchester United have been known for being on the lookout for young talent all year round. The transfer market might be closed, but that hasn’t stopped The Red Devils from scouting some of the top young players in the world.

This time, and according to reports in Italy, Manchester United are the latest team to enter the race for Federico Chiesa. The Fiorentina youngster is considered to be one of the brightest young players in the Serie A and there is no shortage of teams tracking him down, but the Premier League side is now decided to make a move for him.

The 21-year-old offers a decent attacking threat, but can also operate as a wide midfielder so his versatility should be a huge plus. And considering Manchester United have a huge gap on the right wing, Chiesa could fill that void.

The son of former Italy international Enrico Chiesa, Federico Chiesa already has two goals and one assist in the Serie A this season, but his best football is yet to come since he is quite young and still has lots of years left before getting closer to his prime years. And Manchester United want to pounce on the chance to sign him before he becomes too expensive for their budget.
