Inter Milan are preparing to launch a sensational £30m bid for Oscar, 24.
The Brazilian midfielder has reportedly failed to impress new Chelsea boss Antonio Conte with his work-rate not matching the high tempo the Italian favours.
Pre-season has been a mixed affair for the Blues and performances on the pitch have been disappointing. Real Madrid seized the initiative in their friendly this weekend and cruised into a 3 – 0 lead before bringing on youth players which allowed Chelsea to pull back two late goals for a more respectable 2 – 3 scoreline at full-time.
It’s left Conte with many headaches as he seeks to impose his favoured style on what has so far proven to be a lethargic squad. The Italian has reportedly shouted himself hoarse already and is ready to bring his megaphone to the training ground to save his voice.
Oscar has been one who is failing to match his expectations with Inter ready to take him to the more cerebral Serie A which may more readily suit his thoughtful style of play.
Inter face strong competition from Juventus. The Italian champions recently added Marko Pjaca, 21, to their squad but are interested in Oscar as they look to replace Paul Pogba, 23, who is set to complete his record-breaking transfer to Manchester United this week.
