Erick Pulgar’s huge 2018/19 campaign at Bologna didn’t go unnoticed among top teams in Europe. However, Bologna’s central midfielder has taken a huge leap forward following his impressive displays with Chile during the 2019 Copa America. And now he’s getting closer to potentially change teams during the upcoming transfer window.

According to several reports in Italy, there are several teams looking closely at the talented holding midfielder, who can operate in a number of midfield roles. AS Roma had been linked with a move for him, but Inter Milan and AC Milan have also joined the race to acquire him.

As if that wasn’t enough, other teams in Europe are also being mentioned. Arsenal, Sevilla and Napoli could be potential destinations as well, although it is believed that Roma are ahead of the pack given the fact they’ve been monitoring him for such a long time.

Pulgar’s release clause is only €12million, a bargain for these teams. However, Bologna are keen to extend his contract so they can increase his release club. The Rossoblu side know they’re not going to keep him for much longer, so they want to get as much money as they can for him.

Considering the circunstances, it’s getting more and more likely that we’ll see Pulgar playing in a new uniform once the 2019/20 season kicks in next August.
